Thanks for all of the warm greetings last week on my birthday! It’s amazing how many people can reach you across the internet.  I’ve found Facebook as a wonderful networking tool to catch up with many friends from long ago.  Life has been good around here – yet no less busy.  Ethan and I celebrated our birthdays throughout the course of last week and spent this last weekend celebrating a new marriage with family.  Sunday was “World Marriage Day” in the church so it was the perfect cap to a weekend filled with love.  Congrats go out once again to Justin and Kristy (as they sit blissfully in the Bahamas I believe).

This week will be busy as well.  Meeting at Church tonight for Vacation Bible School (VBS) and then tomorrow is Faith Formation.  This Saturday is Valentine’s Day and I’m trying to find something yummy to make with the kids that is minimal in the mess department.  Sunday is the day in front of the TV as “Daytona” takes center stage.  Ryan will actually be home this year so we are finding that a little bit different. I think this is the first time in nearly 8 years that he’s been home.

We’re expecting rain today which is unusual – but after the cold we’ve had it should be good. Have a great day, everyone!
